Chronicles of the (mis?)adventures of my year abroad life in general

Today, I regret to inform you that I ate this.
What is it? It is what is known as an “American Dog”, apparently a super popular food from konbinis in Japan. Following a heated recommendation from someone who lives in my dorm, I thought I’d try it.
'The picture doesn't look that bad!’ I hear you cry.
Let me explain to you what this is.
The outer layer is a doughnut. A sweet, sugary doughnut.
The inside…. is a hot dog. Like, a sausage.
It comes with a packet of ketchup and mustard to drizzle on the doughnut.
Doughnuts, they’re nice. Hot dogs… well, they’re okay. The taste is exactly what you’d imagine having hot dog and doughnut and mustard in your mouth at the same time to be like.
This was the weirdest thing I ever did eat
